Purpose
The intent is to allow each local to upload videos so that one or more judges can provide feedback prior to the qualifier. Having the actual score may provide a reference point and in reality, it is totally meaningless. Having feedback and training ideas is what allows a gymnast (and coach) to improve. Challenges for this initiative are:
- Privacy - towards this end, the videos will be loaded into a private online area that is password protected and to be accessed only within the specific coach and volunteer judge.
- Technology - we will probably have to try it a few times to get it right and then we will detail the steps and tools required.
- Space and bandwidth - we can set a maximum file size and maximum number of routines per local and get feedback.
- Volunteer judges - we will need a pool of volunteer judges who are willing to judge, to explain and to share.
